UBER ahead of the game – again

King’s Day is on its way, and that means trouble for anyone who wants to get a taxi. UBER sees the issue coming – and takes action.  They have created ‘green areas’ where clients can get an UBER taxi, and ‘red areas’, like the heart of Amsterdam, where they won’t be able to drive. Additionally, their now infamous “surge pricing” will be in effect – whether that’s a good thing, depends on how badly you want a taxi. As they say, “surge pricing will send drivers to where they are needed most” (at extra cost to you).

And hurry! The first 500 customers who take an UBER will exit the taxi with their very own “Ride Like a King” tee shirt.  Does this make “surge pricing” a bargain?
